a long life and are looking for a builder who will deliver it for
them, and
• a referral service to suppliers of decking materials and
complementary products and services.
We believe that the website will be a great benefit to Deck
Masters in promoting quality to those potential clients who are
not intending to build their own deck but want their deck to be a
source of enjoyment over a long life.
In addition to providing information on, and promoting, best
practices in materials and construction, Deck Master also
provides information on and strongly recommends against poor

benefits of quality when discussing their project with their Deck
Master,
3. Identification with and public display of the Deck Master
brand and web address on your work vehicle or trailer to assist
in brand development and to gain a benefit from being “your local
Deck Master” as brand and business recognition grows, and
4. An annual fee for the locality listing in the Product and
Service Directory, the license to use the Deck Master ® brand
together with their existing business name and management and
development of the Deck Master business, brand and offering to
the public.
Client Service and Project Delivery Standard
The reputation and long-term success of Deck Master relies on
maintaining the integrity of the “commitment to quality in client
service and project delivery”.
Service Standard
The Deck Master will agree to provide personal service, as a
minimum, to a standard outlined in the Deck Master “Client
Service Standard”, which will be available on our website. The
Standard does not make unreasonable demands and incorporates
service elements which a professional builder would already be
providing.
Construction Standard
The primary good quality construction elements are outlined on
the website along with a downloadable “Construction Standard”
which the client or Deck Master would use as a starting point for
discussions about the quality of materials and workmanship.
We recognise that the client may choose a lesser standard at a
lower price, however the critical issue from Deck Master point of
view is that consumers be made aware of the performance benefits
of quality, be offered a choice of higher quality at an
appropriate price and be allowed to make an informed decision.
Our aim is to produce satisfied clients who will act as
referral advertisers for Deck Masters® .
The best way to achieve this is:
- to provide satisfaction during the construction process through
providing good service and forming a good relationship with the
client, and
- to provide satisfaction in the longer term through using good
