Ltd
- the peak timber industry body in Queensland. Timber Queensland
provides free general advice and expert Technical Consultancy services
on a fee paying basis.
Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries - Forestry -
Queensland Government department with responsibility for
management of the Government forestry resource, forest industry
development and research and development. Printed information is
available on timber properties and uses, including DPI&F Notes on
requirements for the sale and use of preservative treated, lyctid-susceptible
and seasoned timber in Queensland (click

Building Services Authority (BSA)
- Queensland Government body
responsible for regulation of the building industry in Queensland
including contractor licensing, public education, dispute resolution
and enforcement of relevant legislation. Consult BSA before
contracting to ensure your contractor is properly licensed and in the
event of any dispute which cannot be resolved satisfactorily between
the parties.
